Academy

scaa_logo_smallOver the last 5 years, Supply Chain Asia has been able to study and get involved in training the industry. Over time, it became obvious there was a lack of skills & experiential based training in our industry. In the upcoming months, we will be launching various programs under our Supply Chain Asia Academy structure. These include a 5-days residential Supply Chain Executive Development Program (International), 3-days Supply Chain Executive Development Program (In-country), Specialist Training in Supply Chain Management and some joint programs with institutions in various countries in Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, India and China. If you are keen to partner us, please email us at admin@supplychainasia.com. For about the Academy, click here.

The Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards bring recognition to corporations and individuals in the fields of supply chain and logistics. Each year, the the Awards brings together between three and four hundred senior industry executives for a five-star gala dinner and Awards presentation ceremony. The event rotates between the major Asian supply chain hubs of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.

The 2010 Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Ceremony on Thursday November 25.

To ensure an event of the highest standard and integrity, we have developed an airtight process of selection of finalists and winners.

This year balloting to select finalists in each category is being conducted online and through our weekly e-newsletter. All ballots are tracked to ensure that only one vote per individual is cast. An independent auditor will monitor the full process.

The five companies that receive the most votes in each category will be named as finalists in the September/October issue of Supply Chain Asia magazine and will each be asked to submit a 200-word write-up on why they feel they should win the Award for which they have been nominated. Finalists in the Innovation and Consulting categories will be requested to submit white papers and/or case studies as per the criteria below.

The submissions from finalists will be presented to a panel of independent judges that will select final winners in each category who will be announced at the Awards ceremony. The list of the judges will be published in the September issue of Supply Chain Asia magazine.
