Agility has named Michael Robinson as its new chief operating officer for the company's U.S.-based Global Integrated Logistics business group. Robinson joins Agility from Schenker U.S., where he was most recently senior vice president for the western United States. During his tenure there, Schenker handled logistics for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Prior to Schenker, Robinson was vice president, ocean, for Kintetsu World Express.

Brightstar Corp, which provides customized distribution and integrated supply chain solutions for the wireless industry, has announced the appointment of Harry Lagad as president, integrated supply chain solutions. With a career spanning over 30 years, Harry has worked in leadership roles with Pacific Dunlop, Kodak, Tech Pacific (Ingram Micro), TNT, and most recently with Nokia, the world leader in mobility. Brightstar is headquartered in Miami and operates sales, distribution and manufacturing facilities in 50 countries on six continents. The company provides solutions to more than 30,000 network operators, MVNOs, retailers, resellers, and independent agents around the world, and also represents the world's leading wireless manufacturers. DHL Express has appointed John Pearson as CEO for its EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) area. Pearson, who has over 20 years of experience within DHL Express, was previously located at that company's global office where he held the position of executive vice president commercial.
