CEVA names Charles Wellins as Vice President of Ocean Freight for the Asia Pacific Region Print E-mail

CEVA Logistics has announced the appointment of Charles Wellins to the position of Vice President of the Ocean Freight division for the Asia Pacific region. Charles will spearhead the strategic development of ocean freight operations, services and sales for the Asia Pacific region, and will be based in Hong Kong. He will also build and lead a robust ocean organisation structure for Asia Pacific, with further investment into Trade-lane development to boost growth. Prior to CEVA, Charles was with Maersk Inc as Vice President, Sales, for Greater China, and assumed various responsibilities including business development, operations and account management.

 
People News - Agility Appoints Michael Robinson as its new COO Print E-mail

Agility has named Michael Robinson as its new chief operating officer for the company's U.S.-based Global Integrated Logistics business group. Robinson joins Agility from Schenker U.S., where he was most recently senior vice president for the western United States. During his tenure there, Schenker handled logistics for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Prior to Schenker, Robinson was vice president, ocean, for Kintetsu World Express.

DHL Express has appointed John Pearson as CEO for its EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) area. Pearson, who has over 20 years of experience within DHL Express, was previously located at that company's global office where he held the position of executive vice president commercial.
