Green Supply Chain Survey II

As noted here a few times since our first Green Supply Chain Survey launched in the middle of last year, the concept of more sustainable supply chain practices globally and in Asia has been gaining traction. In that survey we found that while 90% of respondents believed environmental concerns were not taken into account when it came to the majority of supply chain operations in Asia; 83% believed the creation of more sustainable supply chain practices would be more important to businesses going forward.

At this point, almost twelve months later and after requests from several readers, we have decided to undertake an assessment of whether the latter result is coming true. We wish to get a real sense of how much of the increase in profile of the Green Supply Chain issue is actually translating into practical change within companies and in what shape this change is happening, with particular reference to Asia. We believe this is an important task because despite the range of reports and work on the issue over the past twelve months, there is little original research coming out of Asia, and therefore still quite a scant understanding of the realities of Green Supply Chain practices here.

There are nine questions in our Green Supply Chain Survey II and we would very much appreciate if you would spend no more than ten minutes of your time answering them. Like our first survey, the insights gained from this one will be shared with you and will play a key role in building up the bank of knowledge in the area of Green Supply Chain practices in the region.
