Academy

The Supply Chain Asia ACADEMY is not going to be another training institution offering academic training programs. The focus of the Academy is the setting up of a Regional Center that provides practical and skills-based training for the professionals in Asia; it will also function as a platform whereby researchers and developers from various parts of the Asia can exchange their knowledge and design practical innovations in supply chain for local and regional applications. The vision is to create synergistic networks for new ideas and accelerate their development from a conceptual to actual implementation.

The Supply Chain Asia ACADEMY will also be a place for communication. We intend to encourage and opened up the center to representatives from politics, business or society and investors who can obtain information on the latest developments in the logistics and supply chain sector and experience them directly.

Supply Chain Asia Academy
Training the Next Generation of Supply Chain Leaders

Supply Chain Asia Academy is not created to compete with the current training programs offered by various education institutions and associations. Contrary, Supply Chain Asia Academy is founded to dispel the myth "that those who cannot do, should teach" and seek to engage practicing professionals in spending part of their quality time in dispensing knowledge and skills to the industry.

The core structures of Supply Chain Asia Academy set up is to provide continuous support to its trainees and community members. We do this by engaging professionals to support this development through

  • Career Counseling
  • Mentoring Program
  • Jobs Placement

Besides engaging industry professionals as Faculty Members, we also appoint experienced and seasoned industry veterans into our Board of Veterans. These veterans will participate as Luncheon and Dinner speakers in all our training programs. A selected number of these veterans will also form the core team of Career Counselors and Mentors to highly enterprising and promising young professionals.

Our first foray into training will be the Supply Chain Executive Development Program (click here to download brochure), with our first intake in Singapore to be held from 20-22 February 2008. By end of 2008, we plan to launch our very own Professional Certificate and Executive Diploma programs.
